Abstract

Review on the Online Public Access Catalogs, (OPAC). It explains the main difficulties the patron has to use the OPAC A diagnosis of the situation is made based on the specialized literature, concluding that we are still far from what is desirable. The review covers bibliography from 1994 to 1998, mainly from the USA.
