Abstract

The myth of Odysseus and his journey had become an universal mytheme and one of the arguments preferred by the classical tradition, with numerous reinterpretations in various artistic manifestations. We analyze the intertextuality of the Odyssey in contemporary songwriting, as heirs of the aoidic poetry, grounded upon some instances in Spanish, Catalan, Greek and Italian.
