Sobre las posibilidades de un análisis coral en Ilíada 1.53-305

Résumé

Este artículo es el resultado de una investigación basada en la teoría presentada en el libro The Dance of the Muses de A.P. David. El autor intenta, primero, comprobar la presencia de un patrón de concordancia entre el acento y el ictus del hexámetro, utilizando una nueva teoría prosódica del griego; segundo, comprobar la influencia de ese patrón en la narración del episodio; y, finalmente, formular una hipótesis sobre el vínculo entre el ritmo del relato y la “situación emocional” a través de un análisis de las variaciones del patrón acentual de diferentes secciones.

Abstract

This paper is the outcome of a research based on the theory presented in the book The Dance of the Muses from A.P. David. The author attempts, firstly, to probe the presence of a pattern of concordance between the accent and the ictus of the hexameter, using a new prosodic theory for Greek; secondly, to probe the influence of that pattern in the telling of the episode; and, finally, to elaborate an hypothesis concerning the link between the rhythm of the story and the “emotional situation” through a study of the variation of the accentual pattern in different sections.
