Abstract

In this work we will address the relationship between capitalism, patriarchy, and coloniality. As a hypothesis we will maintain that these three dimensions constitute each other and without hierarchies, forming a kind of trihedral in which each dimension supports the other and the assembly in its entirety. This does not imply maintaining that these domains are identical and reducible to each other. Rather, what is at stake is that we can identify each of these planes in isolation, given that the intention to explain each of them is necessarily complicated in their two adjacent planes. Precisely because they only exist in and through those intimate, reciprocal, dynamic and contradictory relationships. To raise these questions, we will develop our work from two perspectives. On the one hand, from a decolonial critique that has worked, above all, on the link between capitalism and coloniality. On the other hand, from a feminist critic who has worked on the relationship between capitalism and patriarchy. Following these developments, recognizing their potential and their limits, we aim to achieve some strategies to understand the patriarchal colonial capitalist trihedral, the figure they compose, the strength of their relationships and their lines of fracture.
