Abstract

The play My Life After by Lola Arias allows us to explore the characteristics of performative theatre as well as the notion of "postmemory”, prompting us to ask ourselves questions about the aesthetic-political function of theatre as a vehicle to recover collective experiences and offering us a greater understanding of the way in which the performing arts contribute to knowing the historical experiences and the artistic practices that re elaborate them.
