Abstract

This article presents an example of full-scale neighborhood participation, whose main objective is rehabilitation, rescheduling and recovering Fuencarral Village, which is currently in an advanced state of deterioration and abandonment by Madrid’s Government and Maintenance Service. Furthermore, it also shows the origin and organization of the social platform, self-managed initiative created by the residents of the village, in collaboration with certain external technical figures.
