Abstract

The author analyzes in this article the importance of the use and study of presence in the contemporary scene, in an era when virtuality and absence of proximity are fundamental features. For this purpose, he focuses on the aura that presence generates though its revelation and exhibition on stage. The result of this first step of the investigation is to indicate the need of this concept in any scenic creation that seeks the genuineness of emotions and wants to be actively involved in social reality
