Abstract

While theater and dance??can each be defined asa combined language, there has been a growing disciplinary exchange between them in the contemporary practice, being dance-thatre a clear representative of it. This paper aims to analyze this combination taking the following dance pieces as study cases: Nelken (Pina Bausch, 1982, Germany) and ButterflyEffect (Maria Jose Goldin, 2002, Buenos Aires).
