Abstract

This paper discusses issues related to differentiated bodies in the process of scenic creation, taking historical note of how the body has been seen in the performing arts throughout the centuries. It proposes a liaison with the artaudian theater from the perspective of the otherness of the body situated in the scene of contemporary -and particularly post-dramatic- theater.
