Abstract

This article focuses on Samuel Beckett's theatre, which slips progressively towards darkness and silence; that is why its scenic image seems to turn against itself. Drama does not exist any more; only the wait in a disintegrated world. The energy of the characters weakens extremely. Their existence can only be considered as aparadoxical static wander in the expulsion of the vital dimension of life.
