Abstract

Writing to resist during an oppressive dictatorial regime: that could summarize literature’s activities during the last “civil-military” cycle in Uruguay (1973-1984). This article indagates on the means, the publishing companies, the basic ways of a time of imposed silence and the strategies to keep breathing and fighting from the ambiguities of literature.
