This paper seeks to unravel the concept of spell in the work of Günter Rodolfo Kusch. To do so, it will be important to first visualize the origin of the concept and its possible meanings. Second, we will seek to delimit the theoretical sources that inform our philosopher's vision. Then, we will attempt to show the use and application he would make of the spell within the framework of his hermeneutic work throughout the Amerindian world. There, we will focus on Günter's mandala analysis of both the Pachacuti drawing and the Ceque of Cuzco diagram. Finally, we will attempt to establish a critical dialogue between Kusch and Bruno Latour regarding the spell, highlighting the cosmopolitical reflections provided by the French philosopher's perspective.
