Abstract
Doctora en arqueología, dedicó sus investigaciones a conocer el pasado de las sociedades de la quebrada de Humahuaca y puna de Jujuy, aportando conocimientos sustanciales sobre estas y difundiendo muchos de los resultados entre las poblaciones locales.
Entre 1991-1995 fue directora del Instituto Interdisciplinario Tilcara (FFyL, UBA). Estaba a cargo de la institución cuando el Museo Arqueológico Eduardo Casanova de Tilcara cumplió 25 años en 1993.
